I don’t know every single guildie well but I can say that for whatever reason we managed to bring together and keep some of the nicest and most interesting people we’ve ever met in the WoW community. 

This guild managed to shape itself into exactly what we set it out to be and what we wanted out online gaming time to be like. It’s fun, active, chatty, and rarely seems to be a dull place to be. Yes we had some drama and a few bumps, but I wouldn’t trade the rough times!

I do think NuGen itself is one of the best guilds/concepts out there. Myself and Cat have only ever been in NuGen guilds and we hear tales of what other “Social” guilds are like and wonder why we’re different. We do seem to get people who join and stay with us for a long time, and even hop over to different realms with us!

I will say this for the officers I’m leaving in my stead. They are amazing. I know I like to chop and change them around and I’ve no idea whether that improves the guild or not but it does seem to work for us. Some of the passion and creativity and TIME these guys give over to try and improve your guild time is astonishing. This guild could not have been created and run without my team of officers, past and present included. There is no way I would have been able to do this by myself, and for making my time as a GM and my own online time much easier, I thank you guys.

As for those of you who have only ever had the chance to call yourself guildies, I certainly hope it was no small act. I’m extremely proud to have been able to call myself a NuGen GM, and I hope you guys are still proud and want to remain as NuGen regardless of the name at the top of the Ranks.

I will only add a few things now.

The NuGen Reloaded is remaining on Mazrigos. There will be a different GM name at the top. Give that person and the officers all the respect and help you showed me.

Cat and I will be rerolling Horde. We haven’t decided when and we haven’t decided where. But we will of course drop you a little message with that info when we know it.

You all have a little “reroll an alt” spot carved out in it whenever we do.

The guild forum, website and vent are all yours. We will require the forum and the site back at some point but again whenever that rolls around, we will let you know.

Again, business for The NuGen Reloaded will continue as normal. it’s a big and wonderful guild, and dare I say it, the best on Mazrigos Horde or Alliance!

- has a production queue: you can queue several different items and have them all produced automatically by just clicking one button. 

- is able to consider items you have to produce in order to use them as reagents in the production of other items. So: if you need item A to produce item B, you don’t have to manually produce first item A, then item B. The ATSW does that for you: you just tell it to produce item B and it automatically queues the production of item A.

- shows you what reagents you need to process the whole production queue. It even tells you how many of each reagent you have in your bank, on alternative characters on the same server (in this case, it can even tell you on which characters) and which reagents are buyable from merchants.

Postal

Postal offers enhanced mailbox support. Here are some of the features:

- Tracks all your characters (as you log each one on) and list them if they are on the same realm/faction on an “Alts” list
- Tracks the last 20 players you mailed on a “Recently Mailed” list.
- Autocomplete names from Alts/Recently Mailed/Contacts/Friends/Guild list. You can choose which of these lists to use.
- Allows you to open all mails of selected types at one go in your inbox unattended.

How to get it ?!

The criteria are quite simple, but don’t let this fool you, It’s still a feat !

* To check you progress, go to http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=2336 , click “link” at the top right , and copy it. Now paste it in game chat, and hoover over the achievement link that will have popped up !

Methods

* Generally speaking, there are two methods to get it.

1) Do it all yourself ! This is the hardest way, but therefor also the most rewarding, and cheap way to do it !

2) Put all those yellow pixels to work and buy your way trough the most daunting parts ! (This is what people generally do, and severly cuts the time investment, but we all know that “Time is Money Friend”

Execution

I’ll make a guide on how to do everything yourself from scratch, but it applies to both methods, with the soul difference that most steps can be skipped by using gold .

Notes 

* Before blindly following this guide, have a look at your reputation levels, you might be able to work out a better “order “.
* All goblin factions have a so called “spillover reputation” , giving reputation not only to the targeted faction, but also half the gained amount to the 3 others. This is extremly important for you to know, and take into account for min-maxin your own way to Insanity. You’ll want to keep this in mind all the time, as effectivly managing the spillover, can save you enormous amount of time !

PART 1 : Ravenholdt 

* Start out : Neutral

Step 1 : Neutral -> 11999/12000 Honored

The one and only way to gain reputation from Neutral to Revered, is to kill sydicate mobs. They spawn In Arathi Highlands, both near Stormgard keep, and Northold Manor.

* Base rep per kill = 5
* Rep per Kill for Nugen Members = 5.5
* Rep per Kill for Human Nugen Members : 6

* Base Kills = 3120
* Nugen Kills = 2837
* Human Nugen Kills = 2600

Notes : 

* The best thing to do before grinding your way up to Revered, is to go buy a Guild-Battle Standard of coordination. It now has a 10minute cooldown, but a 15 minute active uptime (up from 2 minutes!), and grants 15% extra rep. This baby is mandatory if your serious about rep 

* 50% of the sydicate mobs are stealthed, so for your convienence, use a /target Macro to never miss a Mob ! (eg /Target davidfranses /cast love)

* Respanw time is around the 6 minute mark, so you’ll want to clear Manor, fly to Keep, clear Keep, and come back to Manor to find all mobs respawned.

* Low level quest require some mob kills in Manor, so if you see a lowlevel around there, please be as kind to ignore Manor for a while !

Step 2 : I’m going to be exalted baby ! 

The only way to get yourself exalted with the thieves, is to go thieving !

Read :
Turn in a lot of “Heavy Junkboxes”, wich can only be pickpocketed from lvl 50-60 mobs. So log off on your main, level a rogue and start pickpocketing instead of reading this !

* Notes : 

* The boxes aren’t auctionable, so don’t try your luck there, but they are in fact Tradeable, so you could find a rogue farming for you, and than either trade you the boxes face-to-face, or CoD thel to you !
* Boxes do not need to be open, but if you wish, you can “empty” them, as long as 1 item stays in the box. (Turn off autoloot if you want to squize the little gold there is in, or try your luck at a rare recipe! )

Farming Boxes :

*Most people recommend pickpocketing UBRS, however I have to dissaggree. Unless your after some lucky drops to spîce things up, I recommend

* The Burning Stepps.

In the burning stepps, near the blackrock mountain, there are packs of soldiers (25 per pakc), nicly in formation of 5×5 just standing around. A max level rogue can just stealth and pickpocket them one by one without aggroing, and go to the next pack, by the time teh three packs are pickpocketed, the first packs “pockets” are replenished !

Beware, the droprate on the Heavy Junkboxes, is quite low, so be in for a long and tendiosu grind ! .

KG: The Rainbow Generation downed Deathwing today on normal difficulty on their second trip into the new Dragon Soul raid instance.

Bring on the heroics!

Having seen it for just one hazy evening, I can still say with some degree of confidence that it’s a new favourite spot of mine.

Guildies can get to the Darkmoon Faire by going to any of the original Faire locations and using the new portals, or by speaking to the lady outside the Dwarven District’s auction house and get a teleport.

Once there, it’s pretty straightforward: you spend gold to get tokens, you use tokens to win games, you win games to get tickets, you use tickets to get prizes. There are quests for each profession, and achievements for just about everything you can do at the Faire. Doesn’t that sound like fun?!

After one of our guildies has been hacked here’s a few tips on what to do to stop getting pwned by hackers yourself.

Get an Authenticator.

• Don’t open ANY attachments in emails (unless it’s work related and you’re 100% sure it’s safe). Tell the person to send it over MSN or something, but an email address can always be faked.

• Don’t click any odd and/or unknown links sent per whisper, in trade, IRC, forums, or what ever. Don’t know the person; don’t trust the person.

• You aren’t banned (or being investigated) unless you get the “your account has been suspended” when trying to login. Don’t trust any emails saying otherwise.

• You are invited for <new game/new expansion> Alpha/BETA before the testing start has been announced on either MMO-Champion or another Blizzard fan site.

• Use an up-to-date browser. I would recommend Firefox with AdBlockPlus (ads can be used to infiltrate usually safe websites, as happened with World of Raids a long time ago).

• Update Windows and do a virus scan once every 5 weeks or so (more often is of course preferred).

• Don’t use the same email address as the one used for your B.net account to register at any other WoW-related websites (or MSN, for that matter). Preferably use an address you use only for WoW; nowhere else. Using Hotmail you could create an alias such as zeroswowaccount@hotmail.comwhich mail received will be redirected to your normal mailbox, but the account name will remain undisclosed for anyone else.

• Use a password for your WoW account that you don’t use anywhere else, especially not on WoW-related websites. To be able to remember your password you could turn it into a sentence (preferably in a non-English language). Keep this in mind : http://xkcd.com/936/

• Change your password now and then. Most users run with the same password for their entire account life; changing it on a regular basis will improve your account security.

• Don’t share your login information with anyone. A very common tip, but people still do it to get around the queue or something like that. My advice: just don’t do it. To skip the queue you could use TeamViewer or LogMeIn yourself.

• Don’t login at friends. Not even the WoW forums or Armory (to e.g. accept/decline raid invites) are safe to login to. You don’t know what this other person has on his computer and he/she may have a keylogger that he/she is unaware of. If you are clever enough not to get a keylogger on your own computer then this usually is the only mistake you have to make to get yourself hacked.

• Don’t buy power leveling services. Again: don’t share your account information.
• Don’t install bots or other cheating applications. Keyloggers can be in anything.
• Use your common sense – train yourself to detect bad links and emails so not opening them becomes a nobrainer.

• Buy an authenticator! You can buy them from blizzstore or doxnload a smartphone app . They make your account a lot safer and in the end they are much less of a bother than you might expect. Another positive side of this is that it prevents you from logging in onto other people’s computers (except for the forums) as you MUST have the authenticator code to get online. You will get used to entering the code in a few days and from that point on it shouldn’t take you more than 3 additional seconds at any time.

As with ALL addons, PLEASE make sure you read the information about them on their respective pages. You will usually find the slash commands or config commands on there, as I can never be bothered to post them!

MikScrollingBattleText

MSBT is designed to be an extremely lightweight, efficient, and highly configurable mod that makes it easier to see combat information by scrolling the information on the screen. It is a replacement for Blizzard’s Floating Combat Text and Damage output.

Here are some of the features

- Scroll incoming damage/heals, outgoing damage/heals, and notifications in separate configurable scroll areas on the playing field.
- Display player and pet cooldown completion alerts.
- Add triggers that will allow you to show notifications based on a variety of conditions.
- Assign a sound file to play for events/triggers.
- Dynamically create new scroll areas and assign any event/trigger to them.
- Customize the position, size, animation style, enabled state, font style, font size, font outline, and opacity for each of the scroll areas.
- Customize each individual event’s color, font style, font size, font outline, opacity, output message, enabled state, and scroll area.

ArkInventory

Essentially a bag addon for sorting and organising all the crap you end up picking up. You can configure it to do certain things or just use the default. This essentially negates the need to buy those ridiculous profession bags as you can just set this to keep things like herbs/gems/ore/leather/cloth/profession items/armour/weapons in separate sections. It will also tell you, when mousing over an item, it you have it on other alts/guild bank/bank/your auctions.

GoGoMount

Love this! if you’re a mount collection (and why wouldn’t you be) this will automatically pick a mount for you so you can get a random one each time! Bind a key and hit it to mount/unmount or shapeshift/deshift, or use ‘/click GoGoButton’ in a macro.

– Supports Shaman and Druid travel forms – in combat as well
– Dismounts you automatically when clicking on herbs/ores or using offensive spells/abilities.
You can also assigned preferred mounts and exclude mounts you never want to see!
