So What Happened to The NuGen Alliance?

The NuGen legacy began in early 2008 when Catrinna and Riande (a pair of WoW newbs) created an "exclusive" guild on the Aggramar horde-side called The NuGen (New Generation), which consisted of no one except us and our army of alts (yes, the altoholism started early). After months of playing the game only with each other, we realised there was a whole other world (of warcraft) out there, a world with other people in it!

We started an alliance as a re-rolling guild project in October 2008 (creatively called, you guessed it, The NuGen Alliance) and built it into a guild with 200+ active members. We had some terrific times, and we even went on to create a level 80 raiding guild with the people we had levelled with, which went on to take on a life of its own.

We had a great time levelling with the other NuGenites and have welcomed any that have come along with us to the horde side. As far as we're aware, the raiding guild is still going on without us, and we take this opportunity to wish them the best with their adventures.

To those who have stayed behind, loyal to the alliance, we hold our hats off to you fine people. We will miss you, and perhaps one day, we will see you again.
